LEFT ALONE
Today's reading: Ruth
"...But about ten years later, both Mahlon and Kilion died. This left Naomi alone, without her husband or sons." Ruth 1:4-5 NLT
For a highly social gal, current times are sure putting a damper on things.
I haven't been able to reach out like I'd like to.
I have been warned against just going where ever I want to go.
I have been challenged to limit interaction with other.
Goodness, I can't even hug folks!
And now, I've been asked to 'shelter in place'?
The feeling of loneliness is already creeping in--and this is just the first few days of this effort to keep us all safe and sound.
Here is my only ray of hope: God is always with me!
When I shelter in place, He is there.
If I were to go into solitary confinement, He would be there.
If I were to climb to the highest mountain or scuba to the depths of the deepest sea, He would be there!
We are never alone!
And I'm going to spend my time remembering that instead of worrying or fretting or stressing about the future.
