GEARING UP FOR ATTACK
Today's reading: Numbers 25-26

"Then the Lord said to Moses, Attack the Midianites and destroy them, because they assaulted you with deceit by tricking you into worshiping Baal..." Number 25:16-18 NLT

If the Lord spoke to you today about taking a stand against your enemy, on which front would you attack first?

If He said He wanted you to deal with what lures you away from Him...where would you start?

If He asked you to annihilate what causes you to wander from His truths...what would you have to get rid of?

If He spoke to your heart about what sins, though well hidden from public view, are separating you from Him...what would you be praying about?

Would it be our phones?

Our computers?

Our hobbies?

Our idols?

Our time-wasters?

Our habits?

Our crazy, too-full-for-God schedules?

Today is as good a day as any to begin removing the 'Midianites' from your life. They've tricked you long enough. They've lured you far enough away. They've stolen your heart. They've lied to your face. They've drawn you away from God...it's time to attack and destroy them!
