Today's reading: Genesis 40-43
"Turning to Joseph, Pharoah said, Since God has revealed the meaning of the dreams to you, you are the wisest man in the land! I hereby appoint you to direct this project. You will manage my household and organize all my people. Only I will have a rank higher than yours." Genesis 41:39-40 NLT
For a gal whose face is a constant digital display of her emotions and feelings, I sure would like to have in my Bible a snapshot of Joseph when Pharoah gave him this news.
I mean, really, Joseph knew there was still One higher than Pharoah when it came to who Joseph's real boss was!
Maybe Pharoah's face was on all the shekels, his name on all the library building and the world revolved around the power he thought he held in his pinkie finger--but Joseph knew who placed him on the throne he sat upon.
What did his face look like when Pharoah said what he said?
I just wonder...
