NO NEED
Today's reading: Revelation 18-22

"And there will be no night there--no need for lamps or sun--for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever." Revelation 22:7 NLT

Winter nights are long and dark. Pain-filled nights, the same. Nights filled with worry and fear are quite possibly worse than either.

Warm, comfy blankets help. Medications and movement sometimes alleviate. Kind words, verses of encouragement and fellowship pacify.


But what helps the most? Morning.

The sun shining. The shadows gone. The brightness of day.

Heaven promises no dark nights. No shadows. No pain.

But now?

For now, we have what we need in His shining glory, in His presence, in His faithfulness.
