CARRYING A CROSS

Today's reading: Matthew 26-28

As they were on the way, they came across a man named Simon, who was from Cyrene, and the forced him to carry Jesus' cross." Matthew 27:32 NLT

My thoughts this morning went to the difference between Simon being MADE to carry Jesus' cross and myself being ASKED to carry it.

There was a choice for me, not for him.

There was a reward for me, not for him.

Am I willingly taking up the cross of Christ each day?
