HIS PLANS
Today's reading:  Genesis 12-15

"You have given me no children, so one of my servants will have to be my heir.  Then the Lord said to him, No, your servants will not be your heir, for you will have a son of your own to inherit everything I am giving you."  Genesis 15:3-4 NLT

Abraham offered God a way out.  A 'Plan B', of sorts.  A reasonable and sensible solution.

But God didn't need it.

His plans were bigger, grander and more elaborate than anything Abraham could have dreamed up.

God's plans are bigger than anything you or I have in our arsenal of imagination, too.

It's time we, and am I ever including myself in this, start taking with both hands what He's offering and toss our notebook full of ideas we've been accumulating to help Him out!
