Strings tied on your finger. Post-it notes littering your desk. Alarms set on your phone.
We all need visuals that stir our memories as to what we've promised to do, what we need to pick up when we go to the store or where we might need to be at a specific time.
Laban knew the importance of a reminder and built up a pile of stones for the occasion of peace.
Maybe you need a pile of stones in your line of sight.
To remind you of a problem you have given to God for safekeeping.
A hurt you have forgiven and refuse to pick up again.
A promise you are clinging to during a waiting season.
A temptation you are choosing to step away from.
A simple pile of small stones. On a windowsill. At your front door. On your coffee table. On your desk. In front of your television.
Let them be a reminder to you of Whose you are and what He can do!
