MY FAME

Today's reading: Romans 9-10

"For the Scriptures say that God told Pharoah, I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying my power in you, and so that my fame might spread throughout the earth." Romans 9:17 NLT

It's not about you.

It's not about me.

It's all about God.

His ordained purposes. His power. His fame.

Knowing that single truth can change the trajectory of our lives.

It stops being about our comfort.

 Or about our plans.

Or about whether or not it's fair.

Or about the how, when, why, who and what.

It allows us to come to a soul-rest by looking for Him in all we are involved in.

It takes our eyes off of us and places them on God.

And in having our vision focused on God, we won't miss out on seeing His power and fame!
