NOT MY WILL

Today's reading: Mark 13-14

"Abba, Father, he said, everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will, not mine." Mark 14:36 NLT

I don't know what you're going through.

I can't imagine the pain you are enduring.

I won't begin to think I can understand your heartache.

But in the pitches of your storm, in the darkest of your night, in the bad dream you are living out--know this, God's will is what is best.

We won't always understand it.

We will think we cannot endure it.

We won't even like it.

But as Jesus examples before us, pushing our will/plan/dream/idea aside so that God's can play out and accomplish all it will--will be the best for us and for those His will can touch.

We can trust our Heavenly Father to walk with us through anything He asks us to experience.
