YET
Today's reading: Mark 13-14
"He went a little farther and fell face down on the ground. He prayed that, if it were possible, the awful hour awaiting him might pass him by. Abba, Father, he said, everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will, not mine. Then he returned and found the disciples sleeping..." Mark 14:37-39 NLT
Jesus sought in prayer.
He sought direction in prayer.
He sought clarity in prayer.
He sought to clear his mind and heart in prayer.
He sought out the One who loved him the most in prayer.
He sought salvation from the upcoming suffering in prayer.
He sought help in help.
He sought strength in prayer.
Then He got up and carried on.
A lesson for us. Pray. Believe. Get up and go about what God's called us to do.
Because, after all, we're seeking His will, not our own--right?
