WHAT THE LORD SAYS

Today's reading: Exodus 5-8

"After this presentation to Israel's leaders, Moses and Aaron went to see Pharaoh. They told him, This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Let my people go, for they must go out into the wilderness to hold a religious festival in my honor." Exodus 5:1 NLT

We can learn a whole lot from Moses and Aaron.

They give us a fine example of how to share 'what the Lord says' with others. Evangelize, if you want the church term.

They didn't tell Pharaoh what he wanted to hear.

They didn't explain to Pharaoh what they were led to believe.

They didn't appeal to Pharaoh's feelings.

They didn't base their obedience upon their understanding of what they were asked to share.

They said what the Lord told them to say.

Simply.

Obediently.

During the opportunity God provided them to do it in.

Yes, we all have a lot to learn from Moses and Aaron.
