THE HUMAN SIDE

Today's reading: Mark 1-2

"The next morning Jesus awoke long before daybreak and went out alone into the wilderness to pray." Mark 1:35 NLT

It's told to us in Scripture that Jesus is fully God and fully man.

I believe that it's in today's selected verse that you see the more human side of our Messiah.

It's the human side that needed time away from the masses.

Moments apart from his closest friends.

Private time with his own Father.

I think it is how the human side of him endured the humans he encountered.

Loved.

Healed.

Suffered at the hands of.

Died for.

It's an example for us all.

If we're are going to minister to those He sent us to be an example to, we've got to spent some time apart from them and with Him.
