WHAT AM I DEMONSTRATING?
Today's reading: Deuteronomy 32:23-33:29, Luke 11:37-54, Psalm 69:1-9
"...You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there. So you will see the land from a distance, but you may not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel." Deuteronomy 32:51-52 NLT
Two things God has asked of my heart this morning as I sat among the words of these verses...
1. Where in my life am I not demonstrating holiness? Reflecting Him? Doing what Jesus would do?
2. What might I miss out on because of my choice to demonstrate 'Malinda-ness' instead of God-lines?
I am mining these words this morning, like a miner looking for the diamond among the coal.
I am chewing on them, like a delicious morsel of food.
I am pondering them, as Mary did the happenings at the nativity.
I am carrying these words like a heavy load on my soul, because I know I am much more guilty than Moses ever could be of not demonstrating holiness.
