DOING MY PART
Today's reading: Proverbs 17-18
The word for the summer: Drought.
The crops are suffering. The garden is suffering. The lawn is suffering. The trees, shrubs and landscaping are suffering.
All from lack of enough water. Life-giving, fruit producing water.
I cannot make it rain. But as of today, I'm going to do my part in regards to this drought...
"A person's words can be life giving water; words of true wisdom are as refreshing as a bubbling brook." Proverbs 18:4 NLT
I'm going to 'water' someone's life with kind words today!
I'm going to quench their thirst by providing encouragement or cheer!
I'm going to drop at least one drop of love into their buckets--buckets that are usually drained dry by the enemy's attacks on the heart and mind.
