WILL CONTINUE

Today's reading: Philippians 1-2

"And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again." Philippians 1:6 NLT

There are a lot of things I am sure about...

-I am sure I will always be prone to mess up.

-I am sure that in this world we believers will have trouble.

-I am sure that serving the Lord won't come naturally--it will always be a struggle to do what is godly.

-I am sure I will be undeserving of every ounce of grace God pours into my life.

-I am sure I will never fully grasp the enormity of His love for me.

And according to this verse, I can be sure that what God has started, He will finish.

In me.

In my prodigal.

In the purpose He has for me.

He doesn't half-do things. He doesn't have a closet filled with unfinished projects, me being one of them. He doesn't half-amaze, half-heal, half-save or half-comfort.

He will continue His work in us all...if we will but allow Him to do it!
