ARE YOU LISTENING?

Today's reading: Jeremiah 22-26

"When you were prosperous, I warned you, but you replied, Don't bother me. Since childhood you have been that way--you simply will not listen!" Jeremiah 22:21 NLT

How good are you at listening?

Not just hearing, but listening?

My prayer this morning is that I, come along if you feel led, need to listen more intently to the Lord--His guidance, His direction, His commands and His promptings.

I want to not only hear God more clearly, I want to listen to and obey all He says to me.

When I remember that He desires to make me Jesus-like, to use me to grow His kingdom, to enjoy a life full of the goodness of His blessings--why wouldn't I listen to every word He speaks to me?

Am I listening, or do I think I know better than the Lord?
