MORE AND MORE ALIVE

Today's reading: 2 Corinthians 3-4

"That is why we never give up! Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day." 2 Corinthians 3:16 NLT

A heart-deep thought crossed my mind as I read this Scripture...

As believers, the closer we get to death--the closer we get to really living!

It's true.

Our lives, our purpose, our hope, our reward lies in all that heaven and the presence of God will give us.

Are we to enjoy life as we know it--living, loving, breathing, walking and talking--of course, we are!

But things will only get better for us as Christians when this life is over.

The closer we inch to death, the more and more alive we are becoming.

Live life to the fullest in this life in preparation for all we will experience in the next.
