TREASURED

Today's reading: Job 23-24

"I have not departed from his commands but have treasured his word in my heart." Job 23:12 NLT

When you hold something dear, or keep it as precious to your heart and mind--then you treasure something.

Do you do that with God's commands? God's words?

Only when we value them as priceless or see them as one of a kind, will we honor them by our actions.

We will obey what they say.

We will change what they lead us to change.

We will keep them as rules for our lives.

We will spend as much time as possible in them.

We will allow them to penetrate our lives, our words and our deeds.

But it all begins with treasuring them in our hearts.
