TELL ME, SHOW ME
Today's reading: Job 13-14
"Tell me, what have I done wrong? Show me my rebellion and my sin." Job 13:23 NLT
As Job sat in the ashes of grief, he sought the Lord.
He begged to know what it was that had brought about such calamity in his life, such heartbreak, such discipline from God's hands.
He wanted to know so he might correct his path.
I pray none of us are in a 'Job season;--facing loss, dealing with sorrow, having the rug pulled out from beneath us.
I hope we are all enjoying times of refreshment, growth and sweet fellowship with the Lord.
Whichever season we might be in, it would benefit us greatly to ask the same questions Job asked of God...
-What have I done wrong?
-Would You show me my rebellion and sin?
It helps to keep a short account with the Lord. To keep our relationship free from any obstacles or issues of separation.
Maybe, just maybe, the Holy Spirit won't reveal a single thing you need to correct or right--maybe.
