AND ABRAM BELIEVED THE LORD

Today's reading: Genesis 12-15

"And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord declared him righteous because of his faith." Genesis 15:6 NLT

God didn't declare Abram righteous because Abram did some great act.

Or because he built a great monument to the Lord.

Or because he obeyed all the Lord told him to the T.

God declared Abram righteous, right with Him, because Abram believed what God said.

Abram believed every word.

EVERY. SINGLE. WORD.

Are you desiring to be righteous? 

Believe God.

Believe what the Bible says about Him.

Believe what the Scriptures tell us He promises to us.

Believe what God has told us He will do in, through, around, with and for us.

Believe God.
