YOU KNOW

Today's reading: Psalm 137-139

"...Every moment you know where I am." Psalm 139:3b NLT

What a comfort it is, Lord, to know You know where I am at all times.

When I am not sure--You know.

When I feel unknown to anyone else--You know.

When I hide from You because of my guilt and shame--You know.

When I stand wobbling on a pedestal I've built for myself--You know.

You always know where I am because You love me.

That amazes me...

Because I know all the reasons why You shouldn't.

Because I think 'if You truly knew me', You wouldn't.

But every moment You know where I am.

And, as Your child, You are with me.

What solace. What comfort. What peace.
