SUNDAY'S COMING

Today's reading: Psalm 122-124

"I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to the house of the Lord." Psalm 122:1 NLT

It's only Saturday and I am already looking forward to time in the Lord's house tomorrow!

The fellowship, the music, the Spirit, the Word...I can't wait.

It's not always been like that.

Nope. It's not.

There was a season of my life when I didn't want to attend, and took every excuse not to attend. The gathering didn't do much for me. The Lord wasn't in 'it'.

But now?

Now I fill up daily upon God, and that leaves me wanting more.

Could I experience God at home? Yes, and I do.

But with His people!

In His house!

A group of us singing His praises!

Pews full of us hearing the Word spoken over us!

Congregants leaving the church ready to pour into the lives of others, planning to live by Jesus's example!

Ooh, I can't wait for Sunday!
