HIS TIME

Today's reading: Ecclesiastes 3-4

"God has made everything beautiful for its own time..." Ecclesiastes 3:11 NLT

The autumn leaves are beautiful and crisp.

But my once vibrant garden, is dead and shriveled.

The creeks are running full again.

But the field lay picked and bare.

The seasons come and go, and with them varying degrees of beauty. What once was, isn't. What is, wasn't that long ago.

The same is true for our lives--and God's choice of timing in them.

This chapter may hurt, ache, leave you grieving, but the next? The next chapter may have you celebrating, bubbling with joy and singing songs of thanks aloud.

Everything, our lives included, are beautiful in His time.

For His purpose.

For His glory.
