IN PROPORTION
Today's reading: Deuteronomy 16-19

"...Bring him a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings you have received from him." Deuteronomy 16:10 NLT

What would you bring the Lord in proportion to the blessings He has given you?

Would a fleet of semi trucks be able to haul it all to the altar?

Would a convoy of moving vans possibly transport all you would want to offer Him?

Would a flotilla of cargo ships hold all you 'owe' Him in reverence, awe and worship?

No, for me either.

The world doesn't hold enough to offer Him.

My bank account, although all provided by Him, seems insufficient to purchase the needed items for worshiping my Lord.

The oceans wouldn't be able to hold all I feel I should thank Him for.

So I give my prayers as a response.

I give Him my ear as a gift.

I offer Him my heart and mind as tokens of my appreciation.

And still, I owe Him so much more!
