PSALM 136

Today's reading: Psalm 134-136

"Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever." 136:26 NLT

The entire psalm reminds us to give thanks to the Lord.

To express to Him our gratitude.

To let Him know we so appreciate all He has done.

To tell the world we value His gracious hand upon us.

Not because He answers every prayer as we prescribe.

Not because He gives relief the moment we whisper 'amen'.

Not because our prayers tickle His ear.

But because His faithful love endures forever.

His love--for us.

Forever.

Give thanks!
