TURN TO US AGAIN

Today's reading: Psalm 84-86

"Now turn to us again, O God of our salvation..." Psalm 85:4 NLT

Ever thought about why the psalmist might have felt as if God had turned His back on him?

Was He silent in regards to his prayers?

Was He distant in providing comfort and presence?

Was he left alone to his own devices and choices?

If you've ever felt God's presence, been warmed by His peace, been filled with His joy, you notice when it's not there.

You miss it.

You ache for it.

You search for it.

You want it back--and you're willing to keep asking for it until the Lord turns His face back toward you.
