HE WILL SPEAK

Today's reading: Jeremiah 17-21

"The Lord gave another message to Jeremiah. He said, Go down to the shop where clay pots and jars are made. I will speak to you while you are there." Jeremiah 18:1 NLT

Contrary to popular belief, God still speaks.

Even if your title isn't 'prophet', God still speaks to you.

Where ever you are, God will speak to you.

The issue isn't whether or not He will say something, it's whether or not we are willing to listen.

I want to hear Him on my drive to work.

I want to hear Him in the Christian songs I listen to on the radio.

I want to hear Him in the conversations around me.

I want to hear Him in the circumstances I find myself in.

I want to hear Him in the breezes blowing through the trees.

I want to hear Him in the sobs of a crying friend.

I want to hear Him in the morning birdsongs.

I want to hear Him in the quiet, darkness of a sleepless night.

I want to hear Him as I sit at my prayer chair and read His Word.

I want to hear Him.

He will speak--and I want to hear Him.
