WATCH OUT

Today's reading: Psalm 9-11

"Like lions they crouch silently, waiting to pounce on the helpless. Like hunters they capture their victims and drag them away in sin." Psalm 10:9 NLT

Before you head out the door this morning, may I offer a piece of advice?

WATCH OUT!

Our enemy awaits you.

He is hiding around dark corners.

He is readying himself to pounce--or to tempt you--or to allow you to lose your cool--or let you open your mouth when you should have kept it shut--or cause you to shut your mouth when you should have said something.

Our enemy is like that.

He lurks.

He waits.

He presents us with the wildest of circumstances.

He has his dirty, grubby hands in a lot of what's going on in this world.

So watch out!

Stay grounded in your faith. Stay prayed up. Remain sure of your salvation. Remind yourself of God's greatness, power and might.

It's a jungle out there...
