SECURE

Today's reading: Psalm 125-127

"Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion; they will not be defeated but will endure forever." Psalm 125:1 NLT

This single truth goes along so very well with another verse I read this morning..

"This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us." 1 John 1:2 NLT

There is security in things like mountains, Mount Zion is listed here.

There is security in impenetrable defenses built in concrete, steel and reinforcements.

There is security in the love a family member has for you.

But there is no security like the security of eternal life!

More than just here and now.

More than just today and tomorrow.

More than just what we can see and touch and hear.

Eternity.
