THEY ARE WATCHING

Today's reading: Luke 13-14

"One Sabbath day Jesus was in the home of a leader of the Pharisees. The people were watching him closely, because there was a man there whose arms and legs were swollen." Luke 14:1-2 NLT

They were watching Him closely.

To see if He would do the right thing.

The right thing by the Pharasaical law.

The right thing by the man.

The right thing by the custom of the day, it was the Sabbath, after all.

The right thing by the manners of the home in which He was a visitor.

The right thing by God.

There are so many people watching us. People we don't know. People who are not believers--yet.

Watching to see how we respond to every day annoyances, emergencies, irritations, frustrations, confrontations, aggravations.

They are watching to see the Jesus come out in us.
