IF YOU SAY SO
Today's reading: Luke 5-6
"Master, Simon replied, we worked hard all last night and didn't catch a thing. But if you say so, we'll try again." Luke 5:5 NLT
Instead of excuses.
Without providing a list of reasons why he shouldn't.
Simon presented himself, his resources, his abilities and his time to whatever it was the Lord asked him to do.
For the Lord's work.
For the Lord's glory.
For the Lord to do with what He would.
A lesson for me.
Because I need the reminder in regards to what I've been praying about for a long time, what I've been wanting to see happen for quite a while and what promises I'm believing Him for.
If You say so, Lord, I'll do it all again today--pray, wait, believe, trust and obey whether I see the results of my obedience instantly or not!
