STANDING BEFORE HIM

Today's reading: Psalm 42-44

"As the deer pants for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I come and stand before him?" Psalm 42:1-2 NLT

David craved God's presence.

From the depths of his being.

To feel His hand upon him.

To know His Spirit was leading him.

To taste His blessings around him.

To see Him at work in his life.

To hear His voice in the thunder and in the whispering wind.

To simply be in His midst. Where He was. Doing what He asked. Be where He commanded. Serving where He sent.

Do we have that same thirst? Hunger? Craving? Desire?
