EVEN THOUGH

Today's reading: 1 Timothy 1-6

"How thankful I am to Christ Jesus our Lord for considering me trustworthy and appointing me to serve him, even though I used to scoff at the name of Christ..." 1 Timothy 1:12-13 NLT

I'll admit, I read no farther than these verses this morning.

Because they broke me.

They stopped me in my tracks.

They spoke to me.

They 'had my name written all over them'.

How truly thankful I am that God is choosing to use me, to love me, to even associate with me, even though I used to...

You probably don't know my used to's, but I do.

Personally.

 

All of them.

Every dark one of them.

And that makes me even more thanks filled that He considers me for this task each morning, to share His Word with others each day, to carry His Gospel in my heart, to bear His name, to be washed in His Son's blood.

How thankful I am!
