Today's reading: 2 Chronicles 29-31

"Our ancestors were unfaithful and did what was evil in the sight of the Lord our God. They abandoned the Lord..they turned their backs on him...They also shut the doors to the Temple...they snuffed out the lamps. They stopped burning incense...Our fathers have been killed, and our sons and daughters and wives are in captivity. But now I will make a covenant with the Lord, the God of Israel..." 2 Chronicles 29:6-10 NLT

I don't know what's been done to you.

Or not given to you.

Or has been handed down to you.

Or has been overlooked on your part.

I don't know how you've been mis-used.

Abused.

Ignored.

I don't know what sordid details your story held.

What labels have been applied to your life.

What dysfunctions your family claimed as their own.

What mistakes you made...and repeated...and repeated.

I do know this...

There is now.

Now you can make a covenant with the Lord.

Now, right now, today, an be your new start.
