LOVED ENOUGH
Today's reading: 2 Samuel 12-13

"So the Lord sent Nathan the prophet to tell David this story: There were two men in a certain town. One was rich, and one was poor." 2 Samuel 12:1 NLT

God loved David enough to call his sin sin.

God loved David enough to ask Nathan to step in and address the issue with David's heart.

God loved David enough to speak through the story, in 2 Samuel 12, of the man with the little lamb.

God loved David enough to allow the Holy Spirit to bring about a confession in David's heart.

God loved him that much.

And God loves us that much, too.

He still calls sin sin.

He still asks people to step in and call us to account. Pastors, mentors, godly friends, church family members, brothers and sisters in Christ and family.

He still speaks through His Word and the accounts written in it.

He still moves through the power of the Holy Spirit.

At any given time, we could be the rich man or the poor man in this story...
