TAKING PLUNDER
Today's reading: Deuteronomy 3-4
"...We destroyed all the people in every town we conquered--men, women and the children alike. But we kept all the livestock for ourselves and took plunder from all the towns." Deuteronomy 3:6-7 NLT
Here's what I plan to do today...
And I base it on what God had the children of Israel do...
And I think you can do it, too...
It's going to happen during the battles God walks me through.
The ones He brings me to but knows, with His help, I can win.
The ones in which my enemy truly believes he has an upper hand.
The ones when the deceiver tells me all sorts of lies.
When he attempts to trick me.
When he tries to convince me that I won't make it.
It's then, and gloriously then, that I'm going to take something from him!
Plunder.
Something that will encourage me on my next part of the journey.
Something that he thought he'd use to trip me up, and now I'm using as a stepping stone.
I'm uncovering some treasure he thought he had hidden too deeply for me to ever find.
I'm standing on God's promises and putting him under my feet.
I'm taking him down and I'm making him pay the bill!
