Today's reading: Leviticus 14-15

I'll be honest, upon rising this morning, Leviticus wasn't what I wanted to read.

I'd have preferred the power of Genesis...

Or the soothing assurance of Psalms...

Or the evangelism of Acts...

Or the kind instruction of the Timothy's...

But I got Leviticus.

And He spoke to me.

He spoke to my heart in that He, in all the hard reading, is in all the details of our every day lives.

That's what He wanted the Israelites to know when He gave them the instruction of chapters 14 and 15...that He would be there for them in the day-to-day happenings.

That's what I needed reminding of this normal Saturday morning.
