TAKE AN INVENTORY
Today's reading: Job 7-9, 1 Corinthians 3, Psalm 127-127
"Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is useless. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good." Psalm 127:1 NLT
God has asked me, through this verse, to take an inventory of where I'm spending my energies. What it is I'm giving my time to. Where my heart lies.
We have to do that on a regular basis--just to make sure we're in line with what He desires for us.
Because too many things can take our time, our attentions and our energy.
Too many good things.
Good things that leave us little room for godly things.
