RESOLUTELY
Today's reading: Deuteronomy 23:9-25:19, Luke 9:43-62, Psalm 68:1-6
"As the time drew near for his return to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem." Luke 9:51 NLT
Jesus knew He had a job to do.
A job needing done on our behalf.
He had close friends who urged Him to not go. He had enemies who would make going so very easy.
But He set His mind to doing what needed done and He went to Jerusalem.
We have things needing done today.
Hard things.
Tough things.
Things we may be the only one doing.
But if He has called us to do it, He will enable us to accomplish the task.
Our service, our obedience, our showing up for the mission, may mean eternity for another.
We have to remember it's worth it!
