NOT UNTIL

What did God bless Jacob/Israel with that night after their wrestling match?

Was it with more sheep and cattle?

More boys for his family tree?

More silver?

More respect from the surrounding nations?

Changes in his circumstances?

Or was it, and I'd never even thought about it until this morning, a different attitude?

That's exactly what usually is given to us after a wrestling match with God--a change of heart.

A different perspective.

A new view.

A re-focusing of our priorities.

I don't know what you are currently wrestling with God about, but here is what I'm going to do--I'm going to ask God to change me.

If He does nothing else, change me.

And I'm not letting go of Him until He does!
