HE HEARD ME
Today's reading: Genesis 41, Matthew 12:30-50, Psalm 18:1-15
"But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry reached his ears." Psalm 18:6 NLT
I don't often feel as if I'm heard.
Oh, it's not that I am not loud-mouthed or opinionated.
It's just that sometimes what I have to say doesn't seem to settle into the thoughts of the ones I'm speaking to.
Cases I can turn your attention to: a teenage son, a husband and friends who have to hear about my complaints and consistent prayer requests so often I sound more like Charlie Brown's teacher than she does.
But here is what keeps me going...
Keeps my faith alive...
Continues to drive me to my knees on behalf of my needs, the needs of my family and the needs of friends...
After al these years still has be banking on the power of prayer...
God hears me!
