Today's reading: Nehemiah 1-3

"The priests repaired the wall up the hill from the Horse Gate, each one doing the section immediately opposite his own house." Nehemiah 3:28 NLT

House- a building that serves as living quarters for one or a few families; a building in which something is sheltered or stored.

Is this what God intended when He told us to love our neighbors?

How different our neighborhoods would be if we set out to 'repair' the parts of the city immediately opposite our own homes.

The surroundings of our houses.

The immediate influences on our families.

Maybe, just maybe, it's how God designed us to change the world--one neighborhood at a time.
