FOR THE GALS

We women have a way of spreading news, don't we?

We telephone, we text, we email, we talk across the kitchen table, we talk across the fence, we talk as we sit beside one another in office cubicles, we talk as the kids play on the playground or we wait as the oil is changed in our cars.

Women share.

It's our nature.

It's our creative design.

It's our downfall at times...

Sorry to say, more of us are still complaining about what's not been accomplished than shouting the happy news of what God has done for us!

Sure, we talk fashion. We speak of current events. We discuss 'kid' issues. We swap labor and delivery stories. We whisper diet tips. We allow our hearts to spill out into the ears of others.

But the Good News?

Are we shouting it from the rooftops?

Are we claiming the victory He has already won for us?
