LISTENING
Today's reading: Job 33-34

"But God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it." Job 33:14 NLT

Lord, I want to hear You.

All day.

In all things.

I don't want so many things going on around me that Your voice is drowned out.

I don't want to be so blatantly sinful that I disregard what You say.

I don't want to dismiss the smallest of Your whispers.

I want to hear when You say, Go this way.

I want my ears bent to You saying, Not now, wait.

I want to be fully attentive when You simply say, I love you.

I know You speak...it's just that I so desperately need ears that listen.
