LIVING IN HIM
Today's reading: 1 John 4-5

"And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgement, but we can face him with confidence because we are like Christ here in this world." 1 John 4:17 NLT

'And as we live in God...'

Living is not having a passing knowledge of someone.

Living is not an infrequent visit with someone.

Living is not a distant relationship with someone.

Living is not an occasional Sunday morning, if nothing else is going on, kind of fellowship.

I have to ask myself, and in turn ask you, am I living in God? Truly living?

My love for Him, my love for others, my love for myself and my purpose in His eyes, will not grow more perfect unless I am living in Him.
