HE COMES TO ME
Today's reading: Esther 6-10
In re-reading Esther this morning, I see it...
She was torn between palace protocol and pleading for the lives of her people.
She was afraid of breaking throne room rules on behalf of herself and her kinfolk.
She feared for her life, all the while knowing she had to plead for her life.
Queen Esther feared approaching the king.
She was apprehensive in approaching his chambers.
It's there that I see it--
God knows there are times I am afraid to come before Him. I am unwilling to dirty His presence with my own self I am worried if there is enough grace to cover my life when I stand before Him.
So on many occasions, so very many occasions, He comes to me!
