WHAT THEY REALLY WANT
Today's reading: Acts 3-4

"When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money." Acts 3:3 NLT

The lame beggar knew money wouldn't 'fix' his problem, but it was the easiest thing to ask for. It was what others figured he needed to ask for. It was what he had been asking for for a long time.

What he really needed was the knowledge and love of Jesus.

Just like the folks we'll run in to today.
