FINDING LIFE
Today's reading: Proverbs 11-12

"Godly people find life; evil people find death." Proverbs 11:19 NLT

Deep thinkers in the church may determine this verse to speak about heaven and hell.

Maybe it does. Quite possibly the wise king was writing about life after death or about torment after death.

But what if he was speaking the truth of this proverb to the living. The breathing. The up and walking around. The workers. The church folks.

What if his intent was to stir us into looking for life each and every day?

Are you finding life in all you see?

Are you living the fullness of the life God has given you?

Are you determining to experience every valuable moment of your numbered days?

Are you thankful, grateful, appreciative?

Are you using your twenty-four hours each and every day to live, really live, where it is He has placed you? In the body He has placed you in? Surrounded by the other images of God He has placed you around?

I believe what he is saying is that the godly will find life in life...and then even more when we're in heaven!
