We are called to love. To be more precise, we are called to love as Jesus loved--that's what being a Christian, or being Christ-like means.

That includes when your love is not appreciated.

When it's not even noticed.

When it's not received as you expected it to be.

When it requires more of yourself than it should.

When it's not reciprocated.
