How fewer hurt feelings would we suffer through if God were consulted before the first emotion sprouted in our hearts?

How many fewer propositions would be signed into law if God were consulted as to their validity or morality?

Would there be less controversy within the church, which is viewed outside the church, which influences anyone wanting to come to the church to receive what the church is supposed to be offering?

Would there be fewer regrets if God were consulted first instead of being saved for the clean-up?

In my own life, I have to say it would make a huge difference. If I were to simply stop, present the issue/decision/choice/feeling to God and pause for His leading before charging ahead.
